Why Philadelphia area patients should have an Emergency Dentist

Emergency Dentist Philadelphia

Dental emergencies can happen at any time during the day or night, just like medical emergencies. This is why it is so important for families in the Philadelphia area to have an emergency dentist available outside of traditional business hours to address problems that may negatively affect the health and wellness of the smile.

At David Spilkia Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we understand that problems can happen at inopportune times, so we suggest patients establish a positive relationship with a dental team that provides emergency services. Dr. David Spilkia is a dentist in the Philadelphia area who has helped many patients achieve better dental health and wellness, and addressing emergency concerns as they arise. During business hours, we can get patients in the same day to treat emergencies including:

  • Lost fillings or restorations
  • Severe toothaches
  • Knocked out teeth
  • Broken teeth

When our practice is closed, we provide an on-call service that can determine the needs of new and existing patients and provide appropriate assistance based on the severity of the problem. Some patients may benefit from pain medication or antibiotics until they are able to see the dentist the following day. This is determined based off a conversation with a dental specialist who can make a judgment call on one’s specific situation and offer viable solutions to get them through until they can make it to our dental facility.

Dental emergencies range from a simple lost restoration to a tooth that has been knocked out. Because of the many situations that can occur, patients are encouraged to have an emergency dentist on their side. Dr. David Spilkia of David Spilkia Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is a quality, comprehensive dental professional who can assist men, women, and children in their dental health needs, expected or unexpected, any day of the week.

If you live in the Philadelphia area and need to connect with an emergency dentist, contact Dr. David Spilkia today at (267) 463-2777 to book your appointment.
